Sustainability & Ethics

Eco-Friendly Fabrics

We use certified eco-friendly fabrics, approved by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and U Trust, imported from Italy and the USA. These premium textiles are made from reclaimed fishing nets and post-consumer nylon waste, then engineered into fabrics that deliver a superb body-sculpting fit, UV 50+ sun protection, saltwater resistance, and long-lasting durability. No matter how many times you wash or wear them, they retain their fresh, like-new look and feel.

Responsible Dyeing

Our fabrics are dyed using eco-certified colourants that are free from harmful chemicals and approved under the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. We work with advanced eco-friendly dyes from industry leaders such as DyStar and Huntsman, who are globally recognised for their innovative and sustainable dyeing technologies.

These dyes create rich, long-lasting colours while significantly reducing water and energy consumption. All water used in the dyeing process is purified before disposal, helping to protect Bali’s environment.

Biodegradable Packaging

We’ve eliminated single-use plastics. Every item leaves our store in 100% biodegradable packaging, ensuring nothing lingers in landfill.

Ethical Working Environment

Our success starts with our people. Every member of our team is treated with fairness and respect:

  • Paid at least double the Balinese minimum wage
  • Provided with full health insurance for themselves, their spouse, and up to three children (covering doctor visits, medicine, and hospital care)
  • Enjoy freshly cooked hot meals daily
  • Receive monthly bonuses when targets are met

This commitment ensures that every piece you purchase supports not only sustainable production but also the wellbeing of the people who make it.

Who We Support

We are proud to support Bali Street Mums, a local charity founded by New Zealander Kim Farr. This organisation helps Balinese mothers and children living in extreme poverty, many of whom survive by scavenging garbage dumps or begging on the streets.
Through safe housing, education, food programs, and vocational training, Bali Street Mums helps families rebuild their lives and protects vulnerable children from exploitation and trafficking.
